In the Midst of Life

Redolent of a pause in life, “Au milieu de la vie(In the Mist of Life)” manifests at once the restrained aesthetic of innocence and the refined aesthetic of glamour. The “reflected” scenery that both overcomes the intrinsic viscosity of ottchil and gives off the impression of hemp cloth permeated by ottchil (an effect achieved by intricate modulation of its light and shade) reminds us of an oriental painting brimming with the beauty of empty spaces, and of a modern fine art piece showcasing splendid hues.
