Little flower

Rimm Chae reinterprets Ottchil (Korean lacquer) through a modern perspective. Her recent  series, 'Little flower', extensively reveals the unique beauty and depth of Ottchil. The picture screen painted yellow and green with free brushstrokes seems to resemble an Impressionist painting. She adds a three-dimensional effect by placing jewelry objects on the surface.
