Pine Tree

"Pine Tree" is a collaborated work of techniques that differ from traditional mother-of-pearl methods. It embodies and honors each individual artisan spirit and creativity. Inspired by the traditional motif that symbolizes longevity, the silver gradation plating perfects the completeness of expression, and the work is revealed in two levels of silver and mother-of-pearl. By setting the pine tree three dimensionally and densely, as in pointillism in paintings, the serene and dreamy mystique of pine trees are brought out. The art that looks in some way like a sculpture and in other way like a painting. I hope this three dimensional and flat piece of artwork inspires others a spark of whole new creativity.
